Media/Graphics support
for faculty, staff and students is available through the Media
Training Center. Desktop
publishing, presentations, signs, brochures, flyers, transparencies, Digital photography, videography,
streaming media and web page development are some of the many services offered in this area.
Training for instructors in multi-media presentations,
Blackboard, Camtasia, and online course design is
available upon request.
The Media Training Center has
a training lab and a wide selection of software programs, including Adobe Photoshop Professional, the Microsoft Office
Suite, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Studio, and
Roxio Easy CD Creator, and Camtasia, which are
used to enhance instruction. Assistance is given with PowerPoint
presentations, image reproduction and editing, as well as media
duplication and voice enhancement. Also, part of the Media Center is a
fully digital video production station.
The studio uses Avid
Express (video editing program) DVD authoring
tools, and Soundtrack software.
The Media Training Center has three large format printers,
a large cold laminator, thermal transparency maker, DVD-CD tower for
mass productions, DVD/CD label printer, two high-end scanners, digital
cameras and digital video cameras.
In addition to assisting BCCC students,
faculty, and staff, the Media Training Center often provides technical
assistance for seminars, conferences, and guest speakers hosted by
BCCC both on and off campus.
